Posted on May 5, 2015 at 3:25 PM

I will consider reasonable offers to good homes, especially for the broodmares. Farah (Guaranteed Equity) is fully capable of returning back to full work and the show ring. Eva, has very limited time under saddle and would best be suited to continue her life as a broodmare. Both Sophie and Lily...

Summer and Fall updates

Posted on October 6, 2013 at 9:25 AM

Red Rock Farms had some exciting results this year with Farah's first foal being named Champion site filly and earning gold premium status at her RPSI inspection.  We are thrilled with this Bon Bayou filly and the wonderful job Farah has done transitioning into broodmare status.  However, her hiatus from work will soon over and and this mare will be going back to work.

To my surprise, Eva foaled outside on May 18th, allowing me just enough time to finish chores and have my coffee.  "Sophie" has us all enamoured with her curioursity and grace.  Eva's largest foal thus far, this filly is going to mature to be a substantial girl!

In November I had the privileged to watch Pancrazio compete at the Royal Winter Fair.

The Lieutenant Governor’s Cup went very well for Wald...

May 2011

What a spring!!  Rain, rain and more rain has made life here on the farm "interesting"!

Farah is home for a well deserved break and once we get rid of the puddles, I will be hacking her about the farm for the rest of the spring.  I hope to get to some adult shows with the mare later in the summer, however, that will be completely dependent on how much time I can devote to IMPROVING my riding.  The mare is a sa...

Operation tidy up is in full swing on the farm!!  There is always work to be done.

Linc will be heading off to the training barn this summer.  He is maturing and developing into a lovely gelding and will be offered for sale at a reduced price until his training begins.  I hope to reduce my work load this year to allow me to focus on my young family.

Farah has been moved to Wi...

What a busy fall thus far!

Farah has returned home from the training barn after getting some wonderful show experience at the Cup qualifiers at RCRA.  She was very well behaved and handled herself in such a mature fashion.  Walked off the trailer and into the ring with no prep and did her job very well.  I am proud of how she has developed and the riding horse she has become.
